The process is:
– Capture series of photos (8 to 15+ images) where the focal point is shifted just slightly with Amscope software.
– Load images into Affinity Photo and perform a focus merged, color balance and export as JPEG or PNG image.
– Load exported image into GIMP and tweak contract/brightness/colors to match physical specimen.
