#2615 Wurtzite Pennsylvania USA (2003) FOV:1.9 mm
– Specimen is labeled wurtzite but I cannot to find another example of sphalerite showing thin crystals. Unfortunately, I do not have a precise location for the specimen. I think it is from western Pennsylvania.
This specimen was created using my improved Lego stand with 1:27 gear ratio and I captured the individual images using my Digital Rockhound’s Companion 4.11 software, and stacked the images using Helicon Focus 8.1.
My next step is to motorize the Lego stand stand and control it using my DRC software.
